If you have inherited a piece of artwork and are interested in selling, let Woodshed Art Auctions guide you through the sale process and be sure you receive fair market value for your piece. Although selling artwork can be a complicated process, at Woodshed, we will make sure it goes smoothly by offering the following:
Personalized Service
Bruce Wood brings over 45 years of art experience as an artist, art conservator and licensed auctioneer to each consignment. Bruce specializes in Impressionist, Modern, and Post-War Art, and he personally researches, photographs, and drafts the auction listing for each consignment. When you consign with Woodshed Art Auctions, you can rest assured that Bruce is putting his expertise to work for you too.
Convenience: Let Us Come to You!
We know that life can be hectic. Let us come to you, at your convenience, to start the consigning process. If you are located in the New England or eastern New York area, and have consignments totaling $5,000 or above, Woodshed Art Auctions will come to your residence to pick up the consignments. We will work with you and guide you through the process so you have a clear understanding of the consignment timeline.
Peace of Mind
Considering an estate sale? Give Woodshed an opportunity to assess your art prior to the sale to see if consigning makes sense for your family’s art. Families don’t always have the same taste as their ancestors- let us connect your unwanted art with a new home where it will be valued. We have monthly auctions, which allows you to quickly settle your family’s estate and discreetly move unwanted artwork so you can focus on other matters.
Free Appraisal Day
Take advantage of Woodshed Art Auctions’ free appraisal day. On the first Monday of each month, you can receive a free verbal appraisal for up to 5 pieces. Please call ahead for an appointment. 508-533-6277
